Gepard79....this is a photo of me! Not seen the triple from this angle before, nice! I think you were stood by me this weekend at the last round of the 4x discussing this photo with someone? I was sat next to you in the green camping chair with the 30D/Sigma 24-70.

To the person that asked, the bike is a Giant Trance, see here: http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/2487249/

No, the forks got destroyed in a crash at the Dirt Goldrun race in '99 (I think that's the year).

Yeah, seemed to work pretty well, I'm sure 36/66's would be better for a mess about bike though.

Sweet sled. The boxxer sticker on the chainstay is a killer touch.

Yeah, I guess you're right but the 40 came from my demo, and I really love the way it works, even in 7" mode.

Thanks guys for all the comments so far. To answer your question sas to how this pic was acheived - it was taked with a canon 30d with off camera flash triggered via a ST-E2 transmitter. This is taken with a Sigma 10-20mm lens at the 10mm setting. SLow-ish shutter speed and second curtain sync make for a nice motion blurred background while "pulling" the rider out of the frame with the flash.

Nice paint, and I'm loving the headtube sticker, killer touch. Is it just my eyes or is your downtube bent?

No that's a 225mm (9") rotor on the front, it's the only way to run a Hope Mono 6Ti with 40's
